The BBC will broadcast the European Athletics Championships live from Birmingham between 10 and 16 August. This marks the first time the event has been hosted in the United Kingdom. Live coverage will be distributed across BBC One, BBC Two, and BBC iPlayer, with audio broadcasts scheduled for BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds. Additional digital output will be managed via the BBC Sport website, app, and social media channels.

The broadcast team includes analysts Jess Ennis-Hill, Greg Rutherford, and Jenny Meadows. Commentary will be provided by Steve Cram, Steve Backley, Andrew Cotter, Colin Jackson, and Paula Radcliffe, with Sarah Mulkerrins serving as the trackside reporter.
