Channel 4 will broadcast all knockout fixtures of the TotalEnergies CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026. This marks the first time a UK broadcaster has shown live matches from the tournament. The event takes place in Rabat and Casablanca and features 16 nations competing in four groups.
The broadcaster will air the quarter final ties on Sunday 8 August and Sunday 9 August via the Channel 4 Sport YouTube channel. The semi final matches on Wednesday 12 August will also be broadcast on the same digital platform. The final of the tournament will air on E4 on Sunday 16 August.
The rights deal was facilitated by IMG, which serves as the international media rights and sponsorship agency for the Confédération Africaine de Football. Joe Blake-Turner, Interim Head of Sport at Channel 4, stated that the acquisition follows previous coverage of AFCON 2025 and the African Champions League Final. Sam Gale, VP for UK, Ireland, CEE and MENA Rights at IMG, confirmed the partnership to increase the tournament reach in the UK market.
The broadcaster currently holds rights for the Women's FA Cup. The 2026 tournament is the largest edition of the competition in its history.
