Channel 4 has commissioned a series of a new at-home gameshow titled Your Time Starts Now (w/t) following a successful pilot. The order consists of eight 60-minute episodes. The format is devised and developed by Alex Horne and Andy Devonshire.

The series is set within the Taskmaster universe and involves UK households competing in tasks from their own homes. Five teams of friends and families compete for cash rewards in each episode. Winning households have the option to keep their current winnings or play for double the amount in the following week. This structure allows for a potential total prize of millions of pounds by the end of the series.

Avalon is producing the series. Executive producers include Alex Horne, Richard Allen-Turner, Jon Thoday, James Taylor, and Andy Devonshire. Andy Devonshire also serves as series director. Sallie Clement is the series editor and Lizzie Gill is the series producer. Tom Beck, head of live events at Channel 4, acted as the commissioning editor for the project.

The format draws on previous at-home concepts developed by Alex Horne. These include HomeTasking and The Button. The Button aired for one series on the BBC in 2018. Andy Devonshire previously served as founding series director on The Apprentice, The Great British Bake Off, and Taskmaster.
