BBC Radio 5 Live has acquired exclusive audio rights from Matchroom to broadcast the final professional fight of Katie Taylor. The Undisputed World Super Lightweight title bout against undefeated challenger Flora Pili takes place on 5 September at Croke Park in Dublin. The event is expected to attract a crowd of over 80,000 spectators.

Coverage will be delivered via BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds. The broadcast team consists of presenter Stacey Copeland, commentators Ronald McIntosh, Steve Bunce, and Skye Nicolson, with ringside reporting from Lydia Des Dolles. The undercard, featuring Dave Allen, Paddy Donovan, Taylor Bevan, and Molly McCann, begins at 19:00 on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra. The main event coverage moves to BBC Radio 5 Live at 22:00. Live text updates and analysis will be provided through the BBC Sport website and mobile application.

The agreement with Matchroom includes two additional autumn fixtures. On 3 October, BBC Radio 5 Live will broadcast the IBF Light Heavyweight final eliminator between Ben Whittaker and Conor Wallace in Birmingham. This will be followed on 24 October by the WBC Super Lightweight World title defence of Dalton Smith against Alberto Puello in Sheffield.

Richard Maddock, Head of BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Sports Extra, confirmed the rights deal covers these three specific events. The broadcast schedule for the September event starts with the undercard at 19:00 and concludes with the main event at 22:00. Katie Taylor is an Olympic gold medallist and a two weight undisputed world champion.
