BBC Sport has launched a dedicated women's football YouTube channel to coincide with the 2026/27 Women's Super League season. The channel provides highlights of every WSL match with a maximum duration of eight minutes per clip. Content on the platform includes original video formats, interviews, and visualised segments from the BBC Women's Football Weekly podcast. This digital expansion follows the existing BBC presence on TikTok.

The broadcaster has commissioned a new analysis programme titled The Women's Football Fallout. The fifteen minute show will follow live WSL matches and will be available on BBC iPlayer, YouTube, and the BBC Sport website and app. Each episode will be hosted by the presenter from the week's match. The punditry lineup for the programme includes Ellen White, Fara Williams, Anita Asante, and Steph Houghton.

BBC Sport is also introducing dedicated WSL team pages across its website and mobile application. These pages will host match reports, features, and breaking news. BBC Director of Sport Alex Kay-Jelski confirmed the YouTube channel is part of a broader output that includes live television coverage and radio commentary. The broadcaster holds the rights to the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.

The 2026/27 WSL season includes three new clubs in the top flight and the transfer of Alexia Putellas to London City Lionesses. The BBC will provide live coverage of the WSL and the UEFA Women's Champions League. The 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup will be broadcast live across the BBC.
