Channel 4 has commissioned a new short-form video series for its social-first food and drink channel, Channel 4 Served, in partnership with Nestlé brand Maggi. The series features chefs Jono Yates and Verna Gao preparing comfort food and Asian-inspired dishes using Maggi products. Recipes include Carbonara Style Noodles, Teriyaki Chicken Bao, and Korean BBQ Chicken Loaded Fries.
The project is produced by 4Studio, the in-house digital production unit of Channel 4. Content will launch on 7 September across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. The distribution model includes an ad-pause placement. This partnership was facilitated by the WPP Media agency OpenMind and was developed by the Channel 4 Partner Lab.
This social series follows a previous long-form branded entertainment project with Maggi titled Shared Plates. That production featured comedian Jack Skipper and was released on the YouTube channel of Channel 4.
The Channel 4 Partner Lab provides creative partnerships, sponsorship, and production services for brands. The upcoming recipe series will be available on four separate social media platforms starting 7 September.
