Live From The Lycett Arms has a new episode airing Friday, October 9, 2026 at 10:00pm. Series 1, Episode 6 titled "Episode 6" will be broadcast on Channel 4.
The Lycett Arms opens for its single weekly hour, a narrow window of Friday night activity. Joe Lycett presides over the front of house, managing the bar, the backstage logistics, and the inevitable friction of the live broadcast. A guest manager steps in to keep the service moving while the floor fills with comedy acts, celebrity punters, and the pub’s usual regulars. The format relies on the collision of professional chaos and public house intimacy. Lycett navigates the room, balancing the demands of the show against the reality of running a temporary venue. The evening unfolds as a blend of stand-up sets, celebrity conversation, and the unpredictable rhythm of a crowded bar closing after one hour.
