Renovation Rescue had an episode air on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 8:00pm. Series 2, Episode 7 titled "Episode 7" was broadcast on Channel 4.
Luke Mabbott pauses between rescuing other people’s troubled projects to tackle his own: a disused 19th-century chapel in Cornwall. It is his latest renovation, and his most ambitious yet. He intends to strip the structure back to its bare bones, celebrating the unique architecture of the original building while injecting a layer of 21st-century style. The challenge is not just aesthetic but financial, as he must achieve this transformation within a tight budget. The result aims to be a striking modern house, born from the skeleton of a historic religious space. It is a test of whether he can deliver on his own vision with the same rigour he applies to his clients’ disasters.

Vogue Williams and Luke Mabbott head to Nottinghamshire to help a family whose dream of a calming, minimalist forever home feels far from being realised. More than three years in, not only have they sunk £250k and counting into the build and endured living in a building site for far longer than they ever imagined, but Sylvia has also been diagnosed with a debilitating health condition, putting the family under further strain and struggling to find the motivation to get the project finished. Vogue and Luke are determined to help rekindle their enthusiasm with ideas for delivering the high-end look they want - including a striking architectural window seat - without breaking the bank. And Luke teaches them the skills they need to save money and regain a sense of control and ownership over their build, including tiling and fitting beautiful cork flooring. Will they finally give Sylvia and Dave the relaxing retreat that they've almost given up on ever achieving?
