The body of ninety-six-year-old Emma Finch was found inside a bungalow engulfed in flames in the Hampshire village of Liss. Initial assumptions of accident collapsed when investigators noted the fire’s unusual containment and a series of incongruities in the scene. A full murder inquiry has now been launched, with detectives turning their attention to the final hours of her life to reconstruct the events leading to her death. The investigation hinges on details that do not add up, forcing a re-examination of a domestic tragedy that was, in fact, a crime.
